Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Perch Analytics ("we", "us", "our") operates perchanalytics.com, a dashboard that lets you view your Google Analytics 4 property data in one place. Contact us at hello@perchanalytics.com.

2. What data we collect

When you sign in with Google we receive:

• Your name and email address (from your Google account)
• Your Google profile picture
• An OAuth access token and refresh token, scoped to analytics.readonly — this lets us read your GA4 data on your behalf

If you subscribe, Stripe additionally collects your payment information directly. We only store your Stripe customer ID — never your card details.

3. What we do NOT collect or store

• Your Google Analytics data is fetched live and never persisted to our database
• We do not track your behaviour on other websites
• We do not sell or share your data with any third party for marketing

4. How we use your data

• To authenticate you and maintain your session
• To call the Google Analytics Data API and Admin API using your OAuth token, and display that data back to you
• To manage your subscription via Stripe
• To send transactional emails (e.g. billing receipts) — we never send marketing email without consent

5. Third-party services

We use the following sub-processors, each with their own privacy policies:

• Google — OAuth authentication and Analytics API access
• Stripe — payment processing and subscription management
• MongoDB Atlas — storage of account data (name, email, subscription status)

6. Cookies and session storage

We use a single encrypted HTTP-only cookie to store your session JWT. No third-party tracking cookies are set. We do not use any advertising pixels or analytics on our own site.

7. Data retention

Your account data is retained for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion at any time by emailing hello@perchanalytics.com — we will delete your data within 30 days. Deleting your account also revokes our access to your Google Analytics data.

8. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. You can also revoke Perch Analytics's access to your Google account at any time via Google Account Permissions. Revoking access will prevent the dashboard from loading data but will not automatically delete your account.

9. Children

Perch Analytics is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy occasionally. Material changes will be communicated by email or by a notice on the site. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
